I am a Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyor with more than one year experience in the construction industry. I am a student member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (RICS), UK.
I am graduated from the Technical College Batticaloa, Sri Lanka in the field of Quantity Surveying and at present I am looking for a suitable position which I can perform successfully in the construction industry.
I have been working with Contractor and Consultant range from pre-contract to post-contract duties on various commercial, residential and infrastructural projects which all includes civil and MEP works. I have a good working knowledge of FIDIC contract and the Standard Methods of Measurements namely SMM7.
I have been working as a Quantity Surveyor and major responsible for Preparation of rate analysis for variation orders, Preparation of monthly progress reports and cash flow, Take off quantities and preparation of BOQ (civil and MEP works), Preparation tender and contract documents, Preparation of Interim payment applications and final accounts.
I consider myself to be a very dedicated worker in various roles as Quantity Surveyor in the Construction Industry because I have a strong academic background and gained good professional experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration.
