5 of the coolest places to visit on Planet Earth
It’s travel time! This is the month before summer and before Ramadan where Dohans sit back and begin to make travel plans. QL will be sharing various articles featuring many amazing places around the globe. There are so many cool places to visit and experience on this widely diverse globe. SO many. So QL thought we would put up 5 awesome places and please see feel free to add in the comments section – you might see them in a future article.
Socotra – Yemen. This incredible little island is not attached to mainland Yemen, thus it’s quite safe. The landscape is absolutely unique and it’s seems to be a best kept secret amongst globe-trotters. It’s not that far from Qatar – so this one may be worth considering! Google it friends – it’s stunning. And pretty cost friendly. Check out the dragon blood trees below - with names that cool, they are not to be missed!

Maldives aka paradise on Earth is one cool beans place. Beautiful, peaceful, and a treasure trove for nature fanatics and divers. You can sit back and watch little baby sharks (harmless ones, not great whites or anything) swimming so close to the shore. It is just an unreal experience.
Cape Town, South Africa. Regardless of the race or nationality of the people who visit here, they ALWAYS return saying it’s the most beautiful place on the planet. Cape Town visitors can look forward to seeing Table Top Mountain, penguins, and even see where the two oceans meet. People love it here for a reason.
Toronto, Ontario. Okay, there could be some bias here. But for the record, I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario, not Toronto. But my God, this city is amazing! Forget all the touristy stuff for a minute (i.e. CN Tower, etc). This city has awesome energy, diversity, culture, and history. The people are friendly (trust me, I am always lost and I require fabulous people to tell me where North and South are). Toronto is almost like a city where the whole world gathered to celebrate their culture, heritage, and their delicious food (yum)!
Beijing, China – to be honest… all of China. This is a city on my must-go list. Beijing has wall you can see from outer space… (outer space!), a panda zoo, fabulous pieces of history speckled throughout the city. By the way, I read that you can actually take a bobsled down from the Great Wall of China (awesomeness). The home of fabulous food, a dose of culture and history. Who is not enamored with the idea of going to China?
May is QL’s travel month, so keep visiting our site to catch more awesome places to visit.
Brit, of course. Just like Egypt ad other countries they are begging for tourists. However, I wouldn't want to find myself being blown up in a bus on a sight-seeing tour!
Agreed. Beijing is good. Lots of places to see. Don't forget Tianmen Square. QL left out Gold Coast of down under. Awesome place to be. It's Florida of Australia. Oh and yes, Brisvegas for those who love poker machines
WT: Jerusalem does allow for tourism .. Lost to see,, Ofcourse the latest destination for many will be Cuba
Himalayas always fascinate me. Lofty mountains, pine trees, snow, lush greenery, rivers, glaciers, lakes....
And, of course, Jerusalem. The problem is, they aren't so tourist-friendly.
All these places have little or no meaning for the advancement of the human race. I prefer to go to Rome, Athens, Luxor, Damascus, Tenochtitlan, or Cuzco.
Ah yes.. Rizks often waxes lyrical about God's own country and his love for Thiruvananthapuram ..
Acchabaccha : they are not beyond you .. The issue is that most expats would rather go home for their vacations and see the family
The best and the coolest and the most beautiful place on this planet to visit is my home which I get to after being away for months. These picturesque places are for those who have the means and a lot of extra cash with them to spend around. They will remain dream to me, and many of my likes here.
Qatar is very nice when everybody is gone!
Nice post, added in travel list.
Toronto was nice .. People were great but the city had no soul... Just my own observation
Thanks Molten Metal! I have fixed it!
Toronto pic is missing ? ....... Please repost the missing pic .......
