Tickets for the 2011 Qatar Ladies can be purchased through the official website of Qatar Tennis Federation www.qatartennis.org .

Fans also can get their tickets from Villaggio and Landmark shopping centers, as well as Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

Among the confirmed participants are world number one Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark) and world number two Vera Zvonareva (Russia), in addition to four former world number one players, Maria Sharapova (Russia), Justine Henin (Belgium), Jelena Jankovic (Serbia) and Ana Ivanovic (Serbia)

No Sharapova, Henin, Ivanovic, and Clijsters.. Yet the organizers keep claiming they will participate..

It's always like this.. they keep fooling people so they will buy tickets on the promise that they will see their idols play (remember last year's Williams sisters posters?)..

@nru that's right. I've read that too. Indian Sania Mirza will also attend but she's 134th in the ranking so I don't expect any surprise from her..

I think the final will be between Vera vs. Wozniacki (unless Clijsters participates)

WTA Worl No. 1 as of Feb. 14, Kim Clijsters not yet confirmed if she will join.
