Qatar-China match analysis

Can you believe it? Qatar beat china 2-0. It should be viewed in two perspectives. One in terms of population. Qatari native population is less than 500,000, while china has the world's largest population with 1.5 billion. Secondly China is not just another India, with bulky population but little accomplishments in sports, but it is among the top olympic medal grossers. How can you explain this? Is it just another impredictability of football?

@genesis ,i get it,But he didnt ask the citizenship,he just played good football,if Qatar gives him citizenship,u cant blame him for not knowin arabic or nt chanting the anthem,n regardin him performin well only in qatari star leagues, maybe yes,but hez a good player to the team, evn christiano ronaldo duznt play as well for portugal as he plays for real madrid......u can either keep sebastian or find a "Qatari" Replacement 4 him,its upon the team mgmt,

i've written what most Qataris expressed whether online or on Live TV shows in Aljazeera Sport & Al Kass. sebastian sparkles at the Qatari stars league, but not when playing for the national team.

My sentiment as a Qatari, I'd rather support a team player who chants passionately the national anthem than a player who can't even pronounce the words. Regardless of the match outcome

But as ridiculously as they distribute citizenship they also renounce it. Political culture = zero.

... and it has to be a judge who decides that you don't 'deserve' citizenship. Think about it.

hamada. You cannot be stripped off citizenship unless you committed a crime (in Europe).

Seriously Reading Genesis's comment,i feel like laughing, maybe i didnt see what u saw........i was at the stadium,n this is not to take away anythng from the goal scorer,he played well,so he scored, but sebastian is by far the best player in the qatar team,he creates chances,n other qatari attackers spoil it.Lawrence Also plays goood.its a team game, everyone has to contribute,it duznt mean only sebastian has to score,he isnt a slave, hez a player,n so r the 10 other playing on the field,u cant stand n expect sum1 to score bcoz u r givin him "nationality" lol, infact 1 of the poorly performin player frm 2 matches is no. 9 "almarri",he got 5 chances to score with china,he is kicking the ball out of the stadium :D,he thot it was cricket perhaps

How can you withdraw a citizenship? Did they commit a crime? - Oh, I forgot, they give citizenship like in a lottery.

Just because it was a Qatari that stuck the ball in the onion bag it does not mean they were the star players ya know. And i love the comment 'No wonder many Qataris are demanding their citizenship is withdrawn' hahahhahhahaha - why because they have not scored a goal in two games?? lol , who is going to play if you take away these guys anyway?

the non-Qatari players have contributed nothing to the team lately, Not in AFC or the gulf league. In fact in both games, it's Qatari Natives who scored. No wonder many Qataris are demanding their citizenship is withdrawn

i have to comment on this, Qataris are having their own thinking.

thank god that the one who scored was Qatari.

otherwise even Qataris themselves will feel with nothing but fake victory.

we can't compare them to north American countries.

it is very difficult and maybe impossible to obtain the qatarian passport, that is why it is very different.

Chinese are new to football, so were koreans,japanese..etc,you can't measure it that way,for example chinese will beat the qatari national team in martial arts or in some gymnastic games for sure.
