Vodafone Doha Hockey Club to organize Qatar 6's on 28th Jan at Al Rayyan Club

On Friday the 28th of January Vodafone Doha Hockey Club will be hosting a 6-a-side tournament at Al Rayyan Sports club. The 'Qatar 6s', in association with Redbull, Nestle and the Qatar Hockey federation, is a tournament that will bring together 12 teams from around the Gulf region including Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE such as United Thalassery Sports club, Bahrain Hockey Club, Kuwait Hockey Club and Dubai Hockey Club are also confirmed participants.Not to be outdone, teams from Qatar's own domestic league will be fielded by last year's Champions Wanderers, alongside teams from Vodafone Doha Hockey Club, Gateway, Qapex Rayyan, Qatar Juniors and Rayyan Hockey United. VDHC are hosting the event with the aim of raising the profile of Hockey as well as giving all of the players in the Gulf to meet up and play some social Hockey. Spectators are welcome at the Al Rayyan Sports club to watch matches from 8am- 6.30pm.
