Overview of the National Sports Day
The Inaugural National Sports Day will be a unique event bringing together Aspire Zone Foundation personnel and their families, with our key partners and many of the sporting elite of Qatar.

The activities for the morning of Tuesday 14th February include a 3.6 km Fun Run around the Aspire Zone precinct, and a Discovery Walking Trail that will take visitors through the Aspire Dome, Hamad Aquatic Center and to the field of play at Khalifa Stadium.

Football enthusiasts will enjoy watching the future stars of Qatar play a small-sided tournament, while the players of the past, representing the QFA, QSL and Qatar 2022 will also showcase their skills at the Aspire football fields. And for those not taking to the field, a Football Fan Zone will provide entertainment and many family oriented activities. In addition there will be exercise classes for adults which will feature a Zumba extravaganza.

A special feature of the National Sports Day celebrations within the Aspire Zone will be the launching of Qatar’s 2020 Olympic Games application file, which will begin its journey to the IOC in Switzerland on this day.

The Aspire family will be joined by staff and families from RasGas, and all the partner organizations mentioned, to create an active, fun and rewarding 1st National Sports Day.
