I have just moved to Doha, so Hi to all !
Looking to hook up with bikers in Qatar.........
Also need help to find a bike...(prefer enduro... road legal... KTM lc4 or Honda crf/xr but very open minded) also require a lid+ goggles, body armour, kidney belt.
Got boots+shirt+pants+knee guards+gloves
All help advice appreciated.... (yes I know the car drivers here are nuts) Many thanks in advance.
PS...............NO HARLEY MOVIN SON'S......... Thanks

Hey Padd !Thanks for that,I tried to email message to administrator before posting on here... postmaster delivery failure message, it seems like the group hasn't been active for some time. Infact I have tried all sorts off web searches and thats what brings me to QL as it seems to be the most active site ?I saw the HD shop today near the airport (no good to me not my thing) and still uncertain if any bike shops actually do 2nd hand enduro machines here ? I found a Yam shop but it was closed and everything looked like new equipment and I refuse to buy a new bike here as I have 3 bikes in the UK and the prices here are the same as UK prices and if there is no tax on them then someone is making alot of money at least in Belgium when a dirt bike is tax free the price is cheaper than the UK. I have seen some older/expired 2nd hand classified ads for bikes here and I can get the same model/year for the same price or cheaper at home so where is the tax free ? So still looking.....................................................
Hi Scott http://groups.google.com/group/qatar-duners
There are a couple of Honda, Suzuki and Harley showrooms in the airport road and D-ring road, but I'm not sure of the location of KTM showrooms. You can check them out.It is a good idea to get the gear before the ride, let me know too, if you find a good location to buy quality moto gear..
Cool ! Thanks for that B2D, will check it on Saturday.Any info on Al Fardan ... Suhaim bin hamad st, their web site aint so goodthe second hand bike market is also a little quite around here is there a good/bad (winter/summer) time to buy/sell in QatarThe reality will be I want to buy a bike around the 28th/30th September however I would like to have the ballace of my riding gear before then.
There used to be a good bike accessory shop near McDonalds on Airport Road. Don't know if it still exists or not though.
