Malaysian MotoGP cancelled after rider death

I've seen this guy in Qatar. It's a shame he died. May his soul rest in peace.

The Malaysian MotoGP was cancelled four minutes after the race began on Sunday when Honda rider Marco Simoncelli died after falling off the bike and was hit by Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi.

He succumbed to injuries, a race official said.

“It is official. He is dead. He succumbed to his injuries,” said an official with Dorna, the company that runs MotoGP, who spoke on condition of anonymity pending a formal announcment.
