Is London a safe and secure place to hold this important event. A few weeks back London was up in flames and what guarantees are there the same might not happen again during the games.
Well done London!
Absolutely right Prism ;-) Made me laugh too!
Alumnar...lol...yeah and if they are not enough some school kids too...:) Seriously, they shouldn't have included this in their presentation...the memories aren't too old to be forgotten.
Prism - You mean they will fill buses from labour camps with construction workers to fill the stadiums? Sounds about right ;)
The best part of Doha's presentation ".. they will sell every ticket, for every session, for every day”...yeah, we know how that would be done...:)
Doha loses out to London for World Athletic Championships

Let other countries also have a opportunity to host some of the world events, games, etc. Does Qatar have to host them all
It's a well calculated & intelligent move by Doha to bid for IAAF 2017, though it lost it to London, but now there are better chances for Doha for 2020 Olympics !!
Hope this win of London would also pacify the egos of the stupid Politicians of England who were feeling screwed by Qatar for FIFA 2022.
Good Luck Qatar for Doha 2020 !!
Well done London - congratulations! Just shows that the 8 million dollars being offered as donation did not influence the decision.
