Heir apparent cup ticket chaos

Why is it happening again that a sportig event is oversold? At the indoor atlethetic finals we waited for more than an hour to get in even with a valid ticket but at least we ended up getting in.

At the Heir apparent cup tonight we never got in together with numerous others -

How difficult can it be - count the number of seats in the stadium and print the same number of tickets.

I hope someone in the organizing committee steps up an apologises to all the people who bought tickets just to be left outside the stadi

hmmm.... it was the 'Waasta' that came to the rescue :P

Normally, such events are being organized by private event managers (coz 'they' cant do it themselves) & the event managers are mostly expatriates...means all are incompetent here :(

I did manage to get in eventually thanks to my friend who knew some people, Waasta again :P

But it is always the same story, they oversell everytime.

Yes Khattak but it was surprising to see many Qataris also standing outside and arguing with the guards. Well was supporting Al Arabi and they got hammered so not too disappointed that I couldn't get in :)

There is a "Waasta" tickets Category as well.

Ya man, I got turned away too, reached there at 6:15 PM, they said it is already full.

They must realise that you have to sell the same number of tickets as the number of seats. Can't organise one game and thinking of organising a World Cup.
