Basketball finding a foothold in Doha
I've always wondered why an indoor sport like basketball is not big in Qatar... They have some great facilities and a few strong clubs as well. I remember watching a girls' game before.
I came across this story today. It gives an insight. It is slightly long, but a good read nevertheless...
And its takin off with the ladies teams too. Saw some not to long ago at the Education City league. A fun game to watch and play!
