This will be our first Eid in Qatar Insha Allah and we will try to make it as in Pakistan.

1st Day = 9 or 10 Pakistani families will gather at one house and enjoy different dishes as there will be one dish from every family.

2nd = Most of us will go to Sealine.

3rd Day: Some of us will again gather at one place.

4th Day: Relax :)

Hi there!

Doha can be boring if you are a boring person...

Otherwise, if you are coming to enjoy, it's a different ball game!

It'd be useful to know your daughter's age, though.

If you are going to stay in a 5star hotel, then ask the concierge to help you organising a day tour or overnight stay in the desert. It can really be exciting!

I wouldn't suggest you to rent a car and go to the desert because you might get lost or encounter problems, you always need to be with somebody who knows the desert before you venture in it!

I work at the InterContinental, so it's easy for me to tell you to come here:-). We offer 3 days of Eid Brunch, with free flowing bubbly... If your daughter is a child she can enjoy kids activities, such as face painting and balloon making. The price is QR 250 net per person.

If you enjoy the beach and want to stay in town, then our resort is your best bet. 500m private beach, pool and kids's pool. Kids activities will keep the small ones busy all day! The entry to the resort is free if you are a guest in our hotel, QR 250 is the entry fee for non-guests and non-members.

We also have a Fish Market (with outside terrace), Za Moda Italian restaurant and Paloma, a Tex-Mex Restaurant and bar.

On Thursday 2nd October we are hosting a beach party with one of the best DJs in the world, Paul van Dyk. Clearly this is no place for a child to enjoy...

Having said that there is a lot of hotels in town with great restaurants for you to enjoy.

Shopping malls, well, if you like very crowded places, then you will like them!

Call some travel agencies and ask for EID tour packages to help you decide.

I have heard that Australian meat is cheaper in Qatar than Autralia.

Qatar must be good place to buy orange and beef.

There is no much things to do in Doha. Sealine resort is a nice place but it is too expensive for such small resort and no activities to spend the time with.

In evening the place look like an empty dead place. There is no drink corner near the beach.

The only place to go is having a walk at the crowded malls or go to movie.

There is not much to do in Doha. But if you are coming, suggest that you go to the sealine and enjoy the beach, or go camel-watching in Dukhan. It's lovely to look at these amazing animals, and have pictures with them. Aside from that, there are malls that you can go to.
