We are relocating to Qatar this year and we are interested in what beaches there are in the city itself. Are they all private for hotel visitors only, or are there any decent public beaches? For the hotel beaches, can non-residents pay to visit for the day?

Yes most of the hotel allow non-residents to use the faacilities during th weekdays not at the weekends.

Secondly there are no official public beaches in Doha City.
