Hi I am interested in traveling to London for a week. Any one has an idea how much would it cost, inclusive of airfare and touring major spots. Approximate cost in riyals. Not interested in a tour guide and just need decent accommodation. I wanted to arrange it from here before I leave.

Thanks!

we dont use any travel agent. We used 'google' from hotel, train, bus, flight and everything else.

Novita77 - The information you provided seemed quite helpful. Could you tell me how you went ahead with the booking, as in Qatar, which Agency did u call and did you book prior to your trip in Qatar. Can you pls give me the name of the Agency. And how can i contact them.

Also regarding the UK visa. What conditions apply that you can avail for a tourist visa?

we stayed in London for 6 night on the last hols. We booked comfort inn hotel in St.Pancras station. We committed for special rate, means paid in advance and if you cancel there is no refundable. If i amn ot mistaken the total bill was about nearly 800 pound for 6 nights. Room not great but location handy.

We travelling aruond with Oyster card. 24 pound something for 1 weeks per person. Unlimited travel between zone 1. Worth every penny ...

We also booked 2 days ticket of big bus sighseeing tour. I think ours call 'The Big Bus company'. The sighseeing tour go around the usual places like Buckigham Palaca, Trafalgar Square etc etc.

Things arent cheap in London, we spent around 30 to 40 pound each meals ... (depend where and what you eat).

Hey I'm traveling to London as well! Probably sometime in September.

I'll stay with my cousin, lodging is free! About the airfare I've checked via Qatar Airways it's I think QR 3100 and that's the cheapest among, Etihad, Emirates and Gulf Air.

to find the cheapest air fare, but London is a very expensive place for tourists. Lovely place and loads to see but you will need bucket loads of riyals there :/
