Canada is generally very good place, not just for Muslims but for anyone. Zero discrimination and a very healthy environment. It's economy is also in top gear, just like Qatar the economy's based on commodities and Canada is rich not just in one but many.
Can't speak for Saskatoon, but I have lived in Ontario and Nova Scotia and have only very fond memories to recall.

Being a muslim is easy in Canada. You will not find the discrimination other religions get in the gulf. However it is cold in the winter and if you can handle that it'll be fine
A little cold and not very many Muslims but otherwise a great place. Have you ever seen "Little Mosque on the Prairie?" It's a sitcom.
