Take Salwa Road to border.
Keep going to Hofuf.
When you reach a new big roundabout take the SECOND exit towards al Ahsa Airport. At airport roundabout turn right then left at next bridge. At next interchange turn right to Abqaiq. When you hit Abqiaq, Dammam/Dharan/Khobar is signposted, but basically keep going straight!
Note: at Hofuf if you head for town you WILL get lost as there are very few signs and what signs there are, are written in Arabic only!
