I'm going to for a vacation this week and the flight is pretty long. So I decided to use a laptop in flight. Any idea whether they are permitted in QA ?

Ofcourse I'm going to disable any wireless links

it's ok to use electronic device unless during take off and landing..i've done it before

I do not see any problem. They may ask to close it during take-off and landing. But during the flight you can use it.
