Online E Visa for UAE

Hi All,

I would like to share my experience in applying online E Visa to UAE to travel by road or flight.

There is a webportal http://www.ednrd.ae/ to apply on arrival visa online now. But please take care while filling up the application form.

If you are applying to travel with Family, please always make sure that you apply seperately for each member. Do not include any accompanied traveller information in anyone's form even though there is an option to do that. Your application will be hold and they will ask you to seperate the accompanied traveller. Unfortunately untill now, there is no option to edit ( you can only reupload any missing documents they asked for ) your application once submitted and you will find hard to convince them.

I had this experience and one of my friend in UAE went to immigration office to clear this issue.

It is mandatory to apply E Visa prior to travel from Sep 2015 onwards.

Hi Mansoor,

I just applied for Dubai visa for myself and my wife, I am getting the exact message as Sameer's and its saying no data found for both me and my wife.

Dear Sameer,

Any help, did you get your visa sorted??

Sameer,

I dont know why you are getting message "data not found",

If you search with your reference number, you should be able to see your application status and then you can reupload missing attachments.

In my applicaiton, the comment was to attach my approved visa copy to process my family's application. I was able to do that.

Dear Mansoor, I applied online for dubai visa yesterday and I got reply to reupload my documents. When I open the "Document REUPLOAD" option on the page https://www.ednrd.ae/GCCIND/documentReupload.do?userAction=load

and search my file, it says no data found. and there is no option to upload documents. Can you let me know how did you upload the documents.

regards,

Sameer

guys anyone of you had any issues with uploading of photos (without white background) for the on arrival visa? Child's visa application has still n to been approved. Wonder why.

Romisa, I think they are still updating the web content. When i was applying, there was no option like child to select in marital status. It was only single or married and I selected for my daughter single.

But, there were option to select CHILD as profession.

I think the issue i mentioned in subject content will also be rectified soon ( option to edit application form once submitted ).

Thanks for active discussion.

Hi mansoor, you seem to be lucky. I tried my best to find 'child' within the professional tab but couldn't. Anyways got the visa.

I don't know what Romisa did. I have applied for my child and I could select the profession as CHILD. under marital status single. I got the visa also.

Guys, I have resolved it finally! If you really want to apply for a child, under the Profession choose ' not Employed' and under marital status choose 'child' . Thanks all for the discussion.

Can one of you advise as to how a child's application can be done online. Online. Going all the way to immigration is not the resolution here. Hope you understand.

If there is no option for designating a CHILD online in anyway, then there is no issue as long as one of the parents application includes the childs name in the accompnied section.

Thanks,

Mr. Mansoor and razira, - Both of you have mentioned that a child requires a separate visa, if so, please tell where in the system do we see the option of 'child' within the professional tab. I have tried it online and there is no mention of 'baby\ or 'child\ anywhere. Have any of you actually applied online for a child?

Kinldy advise.

u may ask his consent please. My bro in law asked to contact him for help. If you can arrange it would be highly appreciable

Hi Razirazack, I can't give his contact details without his consent. FYI, he went to Abu Dhabi Immigration and they asked him to go to Abu Dhabi Airport immigration. there he could solve it.

there is "CHILD" you can choose it. but i belive this will be shown once you start application with DOB and all.

By razirazack• 7 Jul 2015 13:35

what i understood is child can be in 'companion list' but should be applied with the sponsor , ie with Father's application. Mansoor please check meassage, I have send you a private message to get the contact number of you friend in uae, to get some info from him to go emigration there.

By romisa• 7 Jul 2015 13:32

Mansoor; If you say that the child requires a separate application - what 'title' is one going to choose within the 'profession' tab. There are a list of 'professions' and a 'Housewife' category but I did not notice anything for children as such.

I disagree, this is my experience. Child should also have seperate applicaiton. You will see at the boarder then.

The question is whether someone can share their experiences after they travelled to Dubai using this new visa system online. Anyone out there?

Dear mansoor,

I agree that adults (husband and wife) need to have separate applications.

But for children, the parents visa application has an option of 'accompanied' and the visa for one's child is covered within one application itself. I called up the immigration and they advised that as long as the child's name is on the visa, the child will be granted entry. I got my visas issued with no problems/queries within 4 hrs in this manner.

and also see the comment at top from razirack who had the same experience.

Dear Romisa,

you can disagree, but I am sharing my experience. I did as you mentioned, my daughter name was included in my wife's application form. Later i got approval only on my applicaiton and i got a remark in my wife's application (1. Please seperate accompanied traveller 2. Please attach main applicant's approved UAE visa copy). I did attach my visa copy then but still they repeated the first comment. Unfortuantely, there is no option to edit the application form otherthan reuploading any missing documents they asked for.

I called them many times but were not able to assist / convince. Later, i got it done throuhg one of my friend in UAE who went to Abu Dhabi Airport immigration and then he ressolved.

Dear mansoor, I beg to disagree with your note. Children's visas need not be applied separately. I have enquired with the Immigration myself in this regard. Kindly confirm whether you have been advised otherwise.

One application is not suffice, childrens also needed to be applied seperately.

Parents are allowed to list their children within the Visa Application and one Visa will suffice. However, Both Husband and Wife are obliged to apply for separate visas. In the event that the Wife is a housewife- the visa will be granted but entry will be allowed only if the Wife is accompanied/traveling with the husband.

Hi Razirazack,

It Depends on which immigration issued the visa. In my case, mine & daughter visa was approved and wife's visa was only pending. It was mentioned in mine & daughter's visa the issuing immigration is Abu Dhabi Airport Immigration. My friend went to Airport immigration to clear the issue. Now everything cleared, and got the visa.

Saudi Transit visa can be obtained from approved agents. There are few in Doha and Gharaffa. UAE on arrival visa can also be obtained from boarder till end of August. But they prefer to be done online and its mandatory from 1 Sep onwards.
