I am planning to visit Oman by road during my vacations.If someone among you have experienc, this via Saudia & UAE before give me some information.
Visa requirements and road map to muscat ?.

Also i will appreciate for your additional travel tips.

Havent tried it - but that is a long drive!

However, I have spent quite a lot of time on Oman, when I was based in Dubai (still a 4+ hour drive to Muscat from there)...

Great place to go. Make sure to spend time inland from Muscat around Nizwa region. Explore the mountains and plateaus and the amazing villages. Seriously historic area and stunningly beautiful. Hope you have a 4x4?
