Pomacanthus maculosus, also known by the common names yellowbar angelfish, half moon or blue
moon angelfish, and map angelfish, is a marine angelfish distributed throughout the Persian Gulf, the
northwestern Indian Ocean and Red Sea. The species lives mainly in coral and rocky areas, in shallow
to moderate depths (forty feet), though it is more often in silty reef areas than in rich coral growth.
It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade.
We called it THE BUS, 1st time diver really want to go to this popular bus as they know this is the oldest
wreck, it was drop around 70's by Qatari NAUI divers using nothing but human push and balloon techniques.
That time the dive site is very difficult to reach as it has very soft sands so cranes cannot reach the dive site.
