Anyone been to Myanmar?
Advance planning for October ... How do you get a visa? According to lonely planet you need a visa before travelling and this is obtained from their embassies. I think the nearest one to here is Egypt :o(

our teaboy here is from myanmar! he promise tht he ll get u a visa if u take him wiz u as a tourist guide and pay all his expenses :P

Around the embassy in Bangkok there are agents who will help out with the visa - 3 days normal, but express service available. It's off Sathorn Road which is quite central.

You can go to Thailand/Bangkok and get one. Carry US$ as no credit cards can be used.
