Just got back from Holiday

Just thought I'd share this to those who are planning to take a holiday

I was in AE for almost one week and We've (My sister, I and her boyfriend) decided to try the newly-opened hotel in Dubai since they have vouchers from Etihad. So, We checked-in at Atlantis and the place took my breath away. It was really gorgeous. One day is not enough to maximize your tour around the gorgeous island- the resort, aqua adventure, dolphins shows, dining, lost chamber and the Atlantis Aquarium. Believe it, It was nice interacting with the dolphins. But one day stay is all I can afford, seriously. The rides are extreme, it made me shiver!

But when I plunge into the sea, I thought it was boring. Small waves and little sunlight is what I got. But I have no idea how i got sunburned. We tried The Surge and The Rapids, its pretty expensive yet its worth it! Every route is new and it was a heart-pumping until I found myself freaking out! Haha! Aside from that, after sliding into the Ziggurat, you'll get dropped on the tube inside an aquarium with various fishes, sharks and one scuba diver! Haha! In Wadi, you have to fall in line for 30mins for a 5min ride but here its really different.

But the hotel most especially the restaurants are really crowded most probably because of the season. I love the buffet at the Kaleidoscope restaurant. The staff were really friendly and helpful. From the concierge to the waiters, I'd say they've done an excellent job. I asked one crew where I can grab some food and she came all along with me to the shop instead of just pointing the directions! In Ritz Carlton Doha, I was stopped from taking pictures but the security in Atlantis never stopped me from getting photographs.

The hotel is very liberal. Its the only place in Dubai (Not sure) where orange tanned Westerners can really flaunt it without being bug by others. I don't know if ever I'm coming back. But I'm recommending the hotel especially for kids. Gosh, it cost me a fortune!

P.S. Sorry for my crappy shots.
