hi guys, thank you for the reply and advice. I called up AUS embassy in DXB and they gave me an agent to assist me here in QTR. The agent told me that i could get it done from any notary public here. Xyned and Kenyaqueen, thanks a lot.

the best way to go about it is. get it done via ministryo f foriegn affairs. They are gonna ask you to get it translated by one of their preffered translating agents.

It all depends! there are many types of statutory declaration you need. For example: If you do not have a particular piece of ID then you need to take what you have and go to a notary public. If you are trying to prove you are a not married than you will also need to show documents to a notary public and they can sign for you. Well just try to explain what type of declaration you need and phone any notary public office and ask them if they provide it there or if they know where you can get it. I once paid $25 to a notary public to sign a form that I needed to get my pass port.

Good luck
