It has been recommended that I take my family to the Admiral's Club at the Ritz for tea and coffee during the day.
The posts I have read refer to it as a happening night spot - is it good for both or should I give it a miss during the afternoon?

it is a nice place but it sure will be difficult/awkward for your family since a lot of different people goes there for having fun.
