Hi,

I came recently to doha on job basis with my friends,
this is second week for me in Doha and i feel quite bored being in the room

As we were cautioned not to roam on roads on fridays,
as it was family day and we were cautioned not to roam on roads as we were batchelors,

So Guys please help me to what are the places we can see
in doha on fridays by not violating the rules

Thanks in Advance

You can go for a walk on the corniche, You can also vist all the malls like Lulu, The mall ETC. I think batchelors are banned on fridays only in City centre, Villagio and Hyatt Plaza. May be Hyatt Plaza will allow decently dressed batchelors as per the latest reports.

dutt49 first of all, welcome to Qatar. I truly wish you a happy stay here. Yes things don't seem very friendly and easy going when you first arrive as a bachelor, but you will adjust to the culture.

As for what you can do on Fridays, why don't you go over to a friends house, or go to starbucks with a few friends and talk? Socializing is always fun and informative.

Yes malls are stricter than ever now, but can't you try to entertain yourself doing something elsE? Join a sports club, learn a different language - anything come to mind?

I don't mean to sound geeky, as I am not a geek myself - but I can manage to find something entertaining to do when I am bored.

I hope this helps you and does cheer you up.
