Friday or saturday to Dubai?

Hi,

I am thinking of going to Dubai for a visit. I want to return on same day as hotel is expensive (I got discount tickets), so I would like to know whether Friday or Saturday would be better. Are shopps in Dubai also close during Friday daytime like Doha?

I'd say saturday would be the best day.

Mainly because of opening times and the Friday Rush for the weekend.
