Arabian Adventures - Worst tour company
Well - where do I start. Of all the tour operators I have been to in Qatar this would have have to be the worst for a desert safari.
I have been living and working here in Qatar (a country which I have great respect for and have many good things to say about), for nearly two years.I have travelled extensively throughout the world and love culture and people, as well as having a love for these two things. Recently, I the unfortunate experience of booking a group of work colleagues to go on a desert trip through Arabian Adventures, going to the inland sea. What a mistake! Besides the fact that I stayed up most of that night with severe food poisioning, the driver had a very bad attitude problem and seemed to be unpleasant a majority of the way there, he was also exrememly sleezy and was staring at most of the women in the group which made them feel very uncomfortable. The group was a mixture of muslim and non-muslim people and all were not satisifed with the camp which was rundown and the food preparation area was very dirty (we asked to have a look inside). We have been to other providers who were cleaner, had better food preparation facilities and the staff were much friendlier and had a bit more respect.
I hope this post is accepted as this camp is not a good example of the desert and the people of Qatar, as there are so many wonderful companies here with friendly and professional people working there.
Overall out of 10 - 0!
I've booked my private tour during the eid holidays with Inbound Tours Qatar.
Camp is completely covered by fence, very private.
There was many tents, not much crowded big sand dunes for sand boarding.

I can say it was totally private, only two helpers were there to help us.

u might have negotiated so much that it ended in a bad memory to u ? so never some time bargain so much that people endup screwing up u r things
I have used them several times and have had absolutely delightful experiences. We have had Ibrahim (also known as Brian) as our guide and have laughed hysterically with him. He is like a family member now. We were served delicious food, found the camp satisfactory and enjoyed first class service.
Yes may be a letter to the concerned Company might be more effective than on this forum?
Send in a report to the company, they may do something about it.
Hopefully!
Sorry to hear about ur misadventure. I guess when booking for someone else, u shld've gone with a tour operator u knew about or had gone with b4. Also u mentioned this one is the worst, why not give us the names of some nice tour companies.
nothing to be surprised about
