Aqua park - Personal review
We were eager to visit Aqua park since we were hearing about its opening. We went last week. Though it's distant more than 70 KM outside Doha, we expected to enjoy the first water theme park in Qatar. However, it really was far less than our expectations:
1. The facilities are below average: no hangers in the locker rooms which are it turn very narrow. You won't know if the room is vacant or engaged without asking who's inside. No light in some of the toilets. Cheap and low quality facilities in general.
2. Life guards are not professional; they sometimes leave the place, and inform visitors that the game is under maintenance. We heard them making fun of some none-Arabic speaking visitors in Arabic.
3. Not a good place to dine, the restaurant doesn't offer varieties of food, and what we ordered was not really tasty.
4. Not well organized; we were told to go back to the main gate to pay for a separate ticket for a locker key?!
Why quality of similar entertainment places is much higher in Dubai. I believe Qatar is as good as UAE in-terms of resources and skilled workers, isn’t it the case?

Wild Wadi is well maintained with professional staff, excellent facilities, convenient location, GREAT crowd! CLEAN!
Well worth the money.
Wanna try something else?... Atlantis water theme park, jumeirah Beach PArk, the water theme park in umm al quwain, safa park, mamzar park in sharjah, hatta fort, jebel hafit (highest peak in UAE), al ain gardens, khor fakkan, and many more.
The Wild Wadi is superb, really worth the visit.
You can spend the whole day there, and relax too.
Doha....lots to learn.
to Dubai, two-way. I'll just content myself with Aqua Park and when on vacation, try again Splash Island and Eight Waves! Or go Boracay!
Wild Wadi - 200AED for the full day (and night), kids 165AED....well worth the money in my view, had an awesome time

if you continue to compare with the other water parks. Best is for you to go to Dubai! Wait for some time (maybe 10 years) and this park will be "perfect". Lol!
BTW, how much is the entrance fee to Wild Wadi?

even the rides arent many .Only the kids would enjoy I guess
This is the only Aquapark that you cannot bring camera... Really SUCKS!
