Yahoo Messenger, Online or Invisible?
If you are one of yahoo messenger users and spending much time chatting with your friends and loved ones, then of course you were in a situation where you asked: It’s been a while and I did not see ‘Ahmed’, ‘Mark’ or ‘Julie’ going online. Something went wrong with them, or they may not want to talk to me anymore. You are trying to know if they are going online or not, if they are getting your offline messages but ignoring them while they are not.
No need to wonder anymore as I'm going to talk here about some tips to find out, if your friend is online and invisible in the same time or not. I got three methods for you two of them don’t require anything, but we are going to install a software to do the job in the third method.
Let’s start and see …
Method 1: Yahoo Home Page itself …
Go to www.yahoo.com the front page and you will notice this part of the page:
Click on ‘Sign In’ and it would redirect you to yahoo Login page. Put your information there, after that you would be redirected to the first page again. Now click on ‘Messenger’ from that menu again and it should show all of your friends who are online including the invisible ones also.
Method 2: IMVironments ‘Doodle’ …
Login to your ‘Yahoo Messenger’ then click on ‘IMVironments’ then ‘See All IMVironments’, ‘Yahoo! Tools’ and finally ‘Doodle’ as you can see here:
It will start loading the ‘Doodle’ Environment, if it will stop there and continue showing this message:
Then it means your friend is not online. If it will load the ‘Doodle’ and show a blank page, then it means they are indeed online.
Method 3: Buddy Check Software …
Google the software and install it, after you are done run the software and the interface will look like that:
From the Main menu, choose ‘Accounts’, then ‘Add/Edit’ it will open a window like this one for you:
Click on ‘Add’ and another window would open from where you can add your Yahoo Account “Without the @yahoo.com in the end” and Password.
Once you are done, go again to the ‘Accounts’ menu and click on ‘Connect’ which will invoke a window asking you if you want to import the contacts from there if your Login was a success. The moment you add them, it will start automatically checking the status of each account. To check those manually go to ‘Contacts’, then ‘Check Status’.
