First of all, a Big thanks to all the players who came in on Friday Afternoon!!!
Second, a small mention to those players who didnt turn up inspite of telling they would, well please guys ensure that it doesnt happen again...
Third, thanks to those guys who were present on the ground inspite of not knowing whether they would be able to play or not and eventually filling up the places...
Alright, after all this,
A Round of Applause and Congratulations to Johny and TEAM B for putting up a fighting comeback to level the series...
The match started off on time at 1515hrs...and
Toss: Team B, Elected to Bat ! ! !
The match started off with some heavy hitting by TEAM B's opening pair who had put on till I remember at the run rate of about 10 or 11 per over...O my I tell ya ! ! !
Team A's bowling was not upto the mark, fielding was absolutely disgusting not to mention the LEAST OF ANY STANDARDS! ! !, and TEAM B was just ramping on that weak points of TEAM A. This time however Team B did look more positive right from the word GO...their batsmen looked like they were out on a job there to seriously take REVENGE!!!
I dont know the names of TEAM B so I would not be able to put up some of the names, but however, the opening batsmen was I think quite rollicking and put us to the back seat right from the first ball of the match pretty much!!!
In Team A, however there were some spirited performances in the Bowling Department: 666 had brought in a lot of pace and good variety to control the run flow, KSA had also tried to stop the run flow, and there was Zohebonline whose presence is become more and more important...
The overall score of Team B:
End of 16 Overs: 157 / 7
Then it was the second innings:
TEAM A: Were going at pretty much a slower run rate than the required...
One mistake which I wouldn't mind accepting to my team is that Batsmen at No. 3 (Soft2007) He was the WALL of the team yeah, but guess that wasnt the right position to bring in a player who is more of a solid defence types rather than an attacking player...actually I hinted at calling DaRude but he didnt get his lazy azz up and thats why Soft2007 had come in...but thats alrite...anyways...
I was dead tired to get my azz batting...lol!!!
But anyways away from all this...
TEAM A had tried to put up a fight when Zohebonline and Fayyaz had gone into bat, but unforunately by that time it was pretty much too late...and the match had already slipped from our hands...
Overall, it has to be mentioned, that TEAM B's bowling and fielding was much more superior to that of TEAM A...
However having mentioned that, I think it is worth also to mention that TEAM A had put up a fight but in the end went down...to the MIGHT OF TEAM B...
A special thanks to those guys who had brought in refreshements and the equipment for the players...
In a Hot and Humid day I had realized that it was inded taking a toll on all our guys at the ground...but still great job guys...LOL!!!
So yeah there you go,
Congrats to TEAM B for a much better performance on Friday and taking the match away from us...(We would have got you but just missed the bus a little...)!!!
