DOHA: Red Cross and Red Crescent societies around the world pledged $176.2m to support the humanitarian needs of Pakistan flood victims, at a Donor Conference held in Doha hosted by Qatar Red Crescent.

Twenty-five National Red Cross, Red Crescent and Organisation of Islamic countries, which gathered in Doha, also developed a two-year action plan to help the Pakistan Red Crescent Society and support on immediate and long-term relief and recovery work.
