Memories From Zekreet
What a lovely cloudy morning, after long time of no rain … fate choose yesterday to make it rain. Woke up so early and went out to check the weather, hmmm so warm and it would be lovely but what is with all of these clouds? Went inside and opened QL, drinking my cup of coffee and boooom it is raining. Being worried with Owen, Speed and 666 about the trip and if Darude will push through or not but I got the answer in one call. King!!!! Will go no matter what, even if it will rain stones!!!
Went with Owen to Villagio to find the guys waiting there, Darude, Mohammed, Imran, Xena, Jilfer, Corenllian and Absolutejaguar .. The rest, 666, Scarlett, Bajesus and his Friend, Martinez and CQM came later with friends. In between got an emergency call from Canary that she lost the car keys and have to take Owen, Martienz with me for the mission.
We moved later on our way to Darude’s farm, we reached the farm and what a lovely place after the rain. Xena’s dogs were really so excited to run there and were jumping and put their trade mark on everyone's shirt or trouser :). Treysdad meet us later with his family and joined the fun. Walked around the farm and had breakfast then we moved to the camels area which was a great fun taking shots with all of those camels there. Bloushi [the black dude], What Should I do [the one with his front legs tied up], The Couple [the two camels together], The Clan [the group of 5 camels alone].
Moved to Zekreet and before we reached Dukahn or were almost there all of we had to stop … need to fill the cars with gaz or would be in trouble and asked Darude to slow down as he was flying before a while on the road [when it starts raining heavily, I could not see anything and were like 140KM/h behind him but still could not see him!!!] reached Dukhan gaz station, some went to the supermarket while the rest fill the cars and continue with our trip.
Looking for a place in Zekreet to stay and after reaching almost the end went back to a good place and all went out to dance in the freezing weather. Canary & Corenellian offered all coffee and tea. Two tents were there on the ground and I was praying to god that no one would be in when they will flow in the air. We tried to play volleyball, then playing football but we agreed on the monkey thing and someone in the end has to do the monkey act [please keep it a secret in love of god :)], but it was a great fun and a good workout that makes us forget the cold weather.
The guys started to BBQ beef, chicken tandori and tikka which both of them were great. All thanks to 666, his friends, CQM, Xena and the rest. All were drinking coffee, tea later prepared there. After that the weather is getting colder and colder … time to say goodbye to Zekreet and go back to Doha.
All of us had really a great freezing, windy and rainy fun that we would never forget. All thanks to Darude for organizing this trip and to all QL members and friends who were there and we were really glad to have them there. Meeting you all always make me happy and I hope that you do always feel the same about me also.
