Cultural show at Doha Cinema
The Indian Cultural Centre will present a ‘cultural extravaganza’ today at Doha Cinema to celebrate India’s 63rd Independence Day.
The gate opens at 5pm and the function starts 6pm. The venue is open to all members of the Indian community. However, entry is restricted by invitation pass available at ICC on a first come first served basis.
The event will highlight the richness and diversity of the Indian cultural heritage. Cultural performances by community members from various states are part of the programme.
The event is organised with the support and active participation of Indian schools and various socio-cultural organisations affiliated to the ICC. A souvenir will also be brought out to commemorate the occasion. Indian Ambassador Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa will be the chief guest.
