Hi! My name is Abdulla Alshamari and I am small piece that plays a role in a family of artists.

Being surrounded by creativity my whole life, I discovered my own personal talent was writing!  I started out by writing a comic strip written just for fun. But, as I got older I then started to get more serious about writing and started competing with my artistic siblings.

My siblings had various talents from drawing, to photography to jewellery design. I have enjoyed many inspiring moments that have kept me writing until this very day.

I will share with all of you an excerpt from my story "The last book".

I hope you enjoy it!

"What’s your name kid?” Steve asked the teenager, “Wally” the teenager replied, they resumed walking in the shadowy allies and the sun began to set, “this way” said Wally as he ran into an abandoned building.
“Hey wait” yelled Steve while reaching out his hand, he fast walked into the building and sees some brightness and laughter from afar. The light and the voices grew bigger as he approaches until he reached the grand hallway.
It was a place lit with fire barrels, and people were all gathering around the place enjoying their time, even though they had nothing but the warmth of the fire, children were running around, while adults were have conversations and laughs.
Steve stood shocked of the fact that these people are having fun despite there situation, as he kept looking Wally came to him, “there you are, come I want you to meet someone” he took Steve’s hand and walked towards the crowd.
Steve began to look for the beggar but it was too crowded and he barely sees a single face, “Wally”, “Wally”, “WALLY” shouted Steve as he pulls his hand, everybody got quite and looked at them, “is something wrong mister?” asked Wally with a scared look on his face.
Steve stood and stared to look around him while everyone was looking at him, “Hey everyone this is mister.. ummm, what is your name mister?” asked Wally.
Steve brushed his shoulder and shirt and said “My name doesn't matter kid, am looking for someone, a guy in his 40’s bald and …”
“HEY!, you are the rude guy from the city” one man shouted, “You’re the one who hit the old man” shouted another."
