7,700 sacked Pak govt employees to be reinstated

PPP Government has announced the reinstatement of 7,700 government employees, along with a payment of 7.5 Billion Rupees to these employees as a compensation for their termination during 1996-1998.

PPP claims that these employees were politically terminated, and therefore it is their right to reinstate these 7,700 employees. What PPP does not tell is that these 7,700 employees were originally PPP supporters or people who bought these positions from PPP politicians without getting preference on merits. Transparency International had already declared that PPP government in 90s as the most incompetent government in the history of Pakistan, and these political employments were one of the main reasons for the incompetency.

Other than 7.5 Billion Rupees, the bigger mess will be created for several years in these institutes where these inexperienced political employees
