10-day Qatar International Food Festival kicks off
The 14th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) officially kicked off on Wednesday at the Hotel Park amid much fanfare.

The 10-day event, which will be a celebration of gastronomy, entertainment, and cultural exchange, is expected to attract thousands of food lovers.
Organized by Visit Qatar, this year’s festival is the biggest and most exciting to date, bringing together over 100 local vendors, 27 international restaurants and cafes, and a dynamic line-up of entertainment shows.
The festival will offer visitors a unique culinary experience and also play a crucial role in promoting Qatar as a global food tourism destination.
Visit Qatar CEO Eng Abdulaziz Al Mawlawi highlighted the festival’s growing significance in positioning Qatar as a leading global hub for gastronomy and hospitality.
“The Qatar International Food Festival has evolved into a global platform that celebrates culinary excellence while reflecting Qatar’s rich cultural diversity and commitment to innovation. Its continued success underscores the pivotal role of the hospitality and dining sectors in advancing Qatar’s tourism landscape, serving as a key driver in delivering world-class experiences to visitors and residents alike,” Al Mawlawi said during his opening remarks.
QIFF 2025 features several unique attractions, interactive workshops, and live cooking competitions. It will ensure a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. Here is a look at some of the best the festival has to offer.
Michelin Guide Village
This luxurious dining area will let visitors indulge in exclusive dishes created by some of the world’s most renowned Michelin-starred chefs. It’ll provide a rare opportunity to experience high-end gastronomy in an open-air festival setting.
QIFF Ring
The competitive cooking arena will see chefs go head-to-head in live culinary battles, showcasing their skills, creativity, and expertise.
Cooking Studio
It will be a hands-on experience featuring famous chefs from Qatar and beyond, conducting interactive cooking workshops and masterclasses for aspiring cooks and food enthusiasts.
Dinner in the Sky
The adventurous dining experience will see guests being lifted 50M above the ground to enjoy a gourmet meal while admiring breathtaking panoramic views of the Doha skyline and festival grounds.
QIFF 2025 has been structured into several specialized districts, each offering a distinctive culinary experience. Here is a look at the different districts.
Flavours Within Qatar
This section is dedicated to Qatari cuisine, celebrating both traditional street food and fine dining. Visitors can explore classic dishes like machboos, harees, and luqaimat.
Latin Food District
The vibrant zone offers a taste of Latin America, featuring authentic dishes like tacos, empanadas, ceviche, and grilled meats. There will also be live performances inspired by Latin culture.
International Flavours District
It will be a melting pot of global cuisine, bringing together street food vendors and gourmet chefs from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Healthy Corner
It will be a paradise for health-conscious food lovers. The section will focus on plant-based, organic, and sustainable cuisine, featuring vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Coffee & Bakeries Corner
This will be a dream destination for coffee lovers and dessert enthusiasts, offering handcrafted specialty coffee, gourmet pastries, and artisanal desserts from around the world.
QIFF 2025 will also give enthusiasts a complete entertainment experience, filled with activities designed for all age groups. A QIFF VIP Area will provide people with an exclusive luxury dining experience. The area will offer gourmet food, personalized service, and premium décor for guests seeking a refined atmosphere.
There will also be daily music concerts, dance performances, and cultural showcases. A dedicated children’s zone will feature daily movie screenings, interactive cooking workshops, and hands-on arts and crafts activities.
The festival grounds will also include fun zones, live demonstrations, and food competitions.
Strategically located at Hotel Park, QIFF 2025 promises to be a central and easily accessible venue in the heart of Doha. Visitors can park at the DECC parking facility and access the festival site via the designated pedestrian tunnel. Those using Doha Metro’s DECC Station can arrive at the venue with a short, scenic walk.
The festival will conclude on February 22.
