On the sidelines of the event, Al Mannai met with the ITU secretary-general Houlin Zhao and delivered to him a formal invitation on behalf of HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti to attend Qatar IT Conference and Exhibition (Qitcom 2019).
The two officials also discussed ways to enhance collaboration and coordination between CRA and ITU toward the development of the ICT sector.
The ITU Telecom World 2020 will take place from September 6 to 9 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
