For any fire situation, windows and doors are also an important thing. They should be checked to ensure they open and close properly, in case they are needed as an exit. Develop and practice a home fire escape plan to ensure everyone knows what to do if the smoke alarm sounds. Impact windows can prove best to use during fire condition.
