Do you this funny character?

Straight Arrow
By Straight Arrow

Nasreddin is a satirical Sufi figure, claimed as one of them by many ethnic groups[1], among them the Turkish people who believe him to have lived during the Middle Ages (around 13th century), in Aksehir, and later in Konya, under the Seljuq rule. Nasreddin is considered a populist philosopher and wise man of Turkish culture, remembered for his funny stories and anecdotes.[2] Origin and legacyNasreddin may possibly have lived in Anatolia, Turkey, born in Hortu Village in Sivrihisar, Eskisehir in the 13th century, then settled in Aksehir, and later in Konya, where he died (probably born in 1209 CE and died 1275/6 or 1285/6 CE).[3][4] As generations have gone by, new stories have been added to the Nasreddin corpus, others have been modified, and he and his his tales have spread to many regions.

More can be found in the source:

Some funny storie I remember about this guy is: One time Nasreddin was coming to the city on his donkey and when Nasreddin arrived, Nasreddin's friend said I knew you from your donkey, Nasreddin said wow donkeys know each other. Another one Nasreddin was walking and his son was on the donkey, when the people saw that they said look at this son who does respect his father, Nasreddin heard that and changed position, people again spoke and said look at this father who has no mercy for his son, Nasreddin heard that, then Nasreddin carried the donkey. One of the ideas behind this post beside having fun is that satisfying all people is impossible, second is a message for who claimed that opening a cinema for ladies only here in Qatar is a step backword!! Now we gave the women here in Qatar more option so she has now more freedome, this more freedome is not welcomed by some of the people who are seeking for women rights, isn't this strange?

If they make men only then the women don't have to mix with single men.  They can go to the cinemas with the married men and other women.  And that way men (who are the one's who cause all the problems anyway) don't have to mix with women.

but what would be the benifit?

The only ladies cinema is made for those Qatari women who do not like to be with men in mixed places and this comes from two reasons first of all religion second is tradition.

see more details can be found in these websites:

www.islamway.com

www.truereligion.com

www.islamhouse.com

In Islam a woman can not travel alone without an escort that is a husband or father or brother or an uncle or cousin.

Second is the tradition, an extreme muslims do not allow women to study even and I am against them, I will say let the Muslim women study and be affective in her society.

We must know how to live with each other and communicate, we as Muslims have borders which we should not across and I will not speak about it, if you want you can go to any of the above links.

Women are not being forced to go to women only cinema. They have an option to go to women only or mixed. They have more option to choose, nothing wrong with it. Calling it backward step is forcing your own ideas upon others.

Today, sex-selective abortions are unfortunately common in countries like India and China. The introduction of ultrasound machines throughout China in the 1990s led to a sex ratio of up to 120:100 at birth due to familial and cultural pressure to have one's only child as a male. Shortly after these facts became known, it became illegal for expectant couples to know the gender of their fetus. Now, the sex ratio at birth in China has been reduced to 111:100.

The world's current sex ratio is somewhat on the high side – 107:100.

Extreme Sex Ratios

The countries that have the highest proportion of males to females are...

Armenia – 115:100Azerbaijan – 114:100Georgia – 113:100India – 112:100China – 111:100Albania – 110:100

The United Kingdom and United States have a sex ratio of 105:100 while Canada has a sex ratio of 106:100.

The countries with the lowest proportion of males to females are...

Grenada and Liechtenstein – 100:100Malawi and Barbados – 101:100

Adult Sex Ratio

The sex ratio among adults (ages 15-64) can be highly variable and is based on migration and death rates (especially due to war). Into late adulthood and old age, the sex ratio is often highly skewed toward females.

Some countries with very high proportions of males to females include...

United Arab Emirates – 274:100Qatar – 218:100Kuwait – 178:100Oman – 140:100Bahrain – 136:100Saudi Arabia – 130:100

On the contrary, even if all men marry two women, there will still be a lot of single women left.. What makes you think that there is just woman for six men?

If you are driving a car coming from work to your home and there is a person next to you in the car and always want to catch the sterring wheel and control, do you think you will reach home safely?

If lucky yes you will reach, if not then there might be an accident and how big it is? I do not know?

Assume I do not know something called women equality, but I know the women here in Qatar has the right study here and abroad, she can work in any legal feild here in Qatar, she has the right to divorce here husband and this called Kol-eh in Arabic, if she is married her husband must give her Nafaqah (Money for wife), by law she is well protected, and she can buy a lnad and invest in it and many other things.

So which equalities you want to add?

Yes, I've read a few stories and jokes of Mullah Nasruddin;

Here’s one!

A neighbor asked him: “Mullah, I want to borrow your donkey.”

“I am sorry,” said Nasruddin, “but I have already lent it out.”As soon as he had spoken, the donkey brayed. The sound came from Nasruddin’s stable. “But Mullah, I can hear the donkey, in there!”

Nasruddin replied, “A man who believes the word of a donkey in preference to my word does not deserve to be lent anything.”
