New Band in Doha...?
Me: Aussie guy, 40yo (just), been learning guitar for a couple of years and can put a few songs together, want to form band and jam for fun, learn, build a set and who knows....
You: Drums, bass, singer all needed, maybe even lead guitar! Guys or girls fine but ideally similar age to me and Aussie / Brit / Kiwi etc. Enthusiasm a must but no pros or shredders!
The band: Four / five piece covering Lenny, Oasis, Powderfinger, Nirvana, Muse etc plus some old skool / classic rock etc. Maybe even develop some originals!
The challenge: time, rehersal area, skill!!!!
Post back to me and lets see what happens.

Hi Manfo, I'm a year now in Doha, bored and looking for a band too.. My band used to really ROCK manila clubs but that was a long long time ago.. 30 years, can play guitars, bass, and vocals (little drums and keyboard). Genre: Blues, Jazz Rock, Alternative and even some old school rock n' roll. from Beatles to Incubus and everything in between. I write my own music too. Let me know if you still got space for me. I'm aussie and used to sing in a band but not in the age group and only sing jazz..never tried singing any songs from the above mentioned bands either..
I used to sing in a band back in the day, but I'm not Aussie, Brit, nor Kiwi etc. I'm a smelly, head-shaking Indian :-P
My mate started a band, it's called 999Mb - they don't have a gig yet!
