All this regilious talk is doing my head in!

The new EPL season starts in a couple of weeks.

Who's your team playing in the season opener?

Man United play Birmingham City at Old Trafford - I predict a 3-0 thrashing with Michael Owen coming off the bench to score the third :o)

Wenger: I will take positives from our defeat

Dear Supporter,

I think what is the most difficult thing to take from Saturday's defeat against Manchester United is that we were the better team and we lost the game. We were in front and had a chance to score the second goal and got punished on two goals. It is beyond belief.

Overall I would like to keep the positives of the game because I believe that we can deal well with the disappointment of losing the game. We have a great future and we can be a real force. But of course, it's difficult to accept going home from Old Trafford without any points.

Football is unpredictable but I believe in this team. We lack some calmness, maturity and experience at times because we conceded goals at a time when there was no need to panic. We assessed two situations badly.

In the first one, Wayne Rooney was in no position to score, so there was no need to panic. And on the second one as well when Abou Diaby scored an own goal. There was not one player of Man United around our players. So it's a lack of communication and still a little bit I feel in these situations that we might be lacking a little bit of experience.

Even so we had opportunities to finish the game off. We had the chances to kill the game off at 1-0 and even had a chance to come back to 2-2.

As you would have seen, I was sent from the touchline at the end of the game because I kicked a bottle of water when Robin van Persie's goal was disallowed. The fourth official called the referee and sent me off.

I didn't kick the bottle because I thought William Gallas was not offside in the build-up to the goal, but because I was disappointed. I thought we had equalised.

Thanks for your continued support.

Arsène Wenger

Yeah sorry for you UK was expecting quite the opposite last night. I think we'll learn a lot about Man U and the Gunners this week. Especially if Fabregas is a no-go.

Liverpool too much quality not to turn it around.

As long as Lucas leiva is the first choice midfielder, Liverpool will definitely not win the league UKEng.. As for Tottenham, They were rock bottom after 2 weeks last year so they have shown some improvement this season.. Giving us hope.. Know they will self destruct later but enjoying while it lasts.

The Premier League has a FREE fantasy prediction website, takes 5 minutes to register (e-mail address is all required), select your players and then join a league. There is no 'catch', i am a regular QL'er not a spammer, i am already playing the fantasy game, saw this thread and thought a Qatar Living league could be a big hit?

Lets's See ...

Tevez never really got going so no great shakes there.

Ronaldo was a poor performer last season, knowing he was on his way out.

We still have Danny Wellbeck and Macheda waiting in the wings.

Owen, whilst he is regularly broken could prove Alex's next super sub. He was piss poor at Toon as he was in a piss pooor team.

We still need a couple of decent wingers though. Valencia on the right, who knows? Tosic could be a star on the left, but I've not seen him action yet, but it sounds like he could replace Ronaldo on the dead ball situation.

Hargreaves is back to fitness, and with him, Carrick and Scholes in midfield we are back to full strength in that area again.

man city to play a 2-2-6 formation and lose each game 6-3. New owners to start screaming that they wasted their money and sign two more strikers and promote a 22 year old emirati graduate to manager. Team switches to 1-1-8 formation and loses each game 9-3. Blames previous expat manager for faliure and stealing all the money......

I do not think Man yoo will be able to make up for the losses they have had this off-season to retain the title. I see Chelskee and 'Pool fighting for 1st with man yoo taking 3rd. As for the last coveted position I'm having a hard time saying...

I do think Arsenal will take a serious step backwards this year and as it stands now I cannot see my team Villa maintaining top 6. Maybe Everton or Man shitty take the 4th spot...

So brit you think the Arse is locked in 3rd?

Would not see them being higher than that but could see them having trouble

And yes very much hoping for some stunningly bad moments from City!
