Who can complain to about noise???

I live 30 floors up, what a fantastic view - but I need to complain about the massive construction project next door! Hey, it's part of life in Qatar, but should it be dozens (I can literally count 32 right now) of dumper trucks sounding horns, along with pile drivers at midnight?????? I can't believe a 24hr timetable, 7 days a week, is allowed here - with double the effort from the guys at night! Am I wrong? I'm not living near the airport/Industrial Area - I'm in the West Bay, next to beautiful (and no doubt very expensive) villas - what's going on??? It would be quieter to move into the City Centre Mall, at least the shops close at 10!!!

Who do you talk to??

Tenants from that particular place must come together and complain to the nearest police station. At least they can let you live without a noise during weekends or Saturdays.

You can complain to your hearts content, scream yourself dry, buy a siren and use it to shout your hate at the inconsiderate fools who orchestrate this madness and it will get you exactly no where. This is part of the price of living in this country. My own house is currently so full of construction dust i have to have the A/C's removed and professionally cleaned once a month.

But its all OK, Qatar is not meant to be lived in, just admired.

PS, sabotaging construction equipment will at least make u feel better!
