before i come to qatar ,i had a streotype image of indians.certain look.mahrajas and cenima stars look if u know what i mean.but when i came here i was amazed by the diversity of indians.many religions, many languages, different looks .i felt lost.one of my hobbies is to know about nations culture for ex.their food .costumes,behaviore.so i felt that india needs alot of attention.and as a muslim i decided to start with muslim indian culture as a first easy step as we have lots of things in common.olso i notice many arabic words in the language.i wanted to know wheather they got into india because of islam or old trade between arabs and indians or both.
so will you help .it is a great chance for me to be with QL where i can find many answers from different peaple.i will not have this chance autside.so will you be patient.
thanks

i have been in india many times...its a geat country....27 states 27 official languages, total more than 1800 languages can u believe it?..in Bombay i went in a place named imaam bada...wallahi i felt as if im in iran..all persian there..its a very big location...in hyderabad theres a place named barkaz all mostly are arabs..speak arabic.........i was astonished...they came from yemen at the time of mughalsand settled in india as it was the richest country of that time!in goa u will get the french portugese descendents indians...in pune too i went for a visit found lots of arabs, omanis, saudis, egyptians, sudanese there for studying as its known oxford of east.subhanalla..in bombay many pathans also i visited..vvv lovely..every culture, every religion calls other brother..the most beautiful thing in them MUSLIMS,HINDUS,SIKHS,CHRISTIANS,and all other religion are one family, mess is just cuz of politicians.all r one in assam too i went found people like chinese origin....i think worlds every origin of people r there in india..nepalese,srilankans,mashalal arabs, persians, portugese descendants and mostly big hearted indians, but sadly here i saw qataris and arabs think india is only kerala a (very small state)..no other state they know:)
