2 questions- Interview during Ramadan

bw
By bw

I have an interview scheduled for next week and have been reading up on etiquette which brings me to my first question
From what I have read, it is considered rude to refuse the offer of tea/coffee etc, however I am assuming that during Ramadan it would be rude to accept such an offer
Please advise on what would be the correct thing to do in this situation ( or is it a moot point as no beverage would be offered during this time?)

My second question is regarding what is considered appropriate clothing to wear to an interview? I plan to wear a suit ( blazer and slacks) as do not wish to offend but I know that in some countries, it is frowned upon for women to wear pants.

I want to ensure that make a good first impression so look forward to hearing from forum members in response to my queries

Many thanks

It is hard to know...

so what i recommend; It is just an interview you can say "no thanks i'm good"...& offend no one...everyone will be happy.

If you got the job then you will know the common practice.

Good Luck

1- You will never offer coffee/tea/drink during Ramadan.

2- Dress should be normal , only be confident during interviwing

Hi, first I wish you all the best in this interview. Don’t distract yourself by thinking in these things, you will not be offered tea/coffee if the interviewer is a Muslim. And, it’s OK to say “NO, thank you” if you don’t want to have any drink.

In regards to the cloth, you have the best selection.

Good luck again
