Has anyone else received a Bluetooth flirtation sent to one's mobile phone while in a public place? I saw a TV documentary that suggested it's prevalent in Dubai but it happens here too.
yes it happens over in Qatar aswell,,,,, coz i try to send some picture mesgz via bluetooth in public place
& if u want to see your self go to city centre & change ur bluetooth name too any girls name like(fatima, mariam) & take ur moblie in ur hand & see how many bluetooth mesgz u will recieve,,,,:)
Actually, the man who sent the Bluetooth message inadvertently sent it to my husband as we both have Sony Ericssons!!! It was funny when it happened but I can see how it could cause problems. My mobile was visible on the table at the time, but my Bluetooth was switched off. (My husband keeps his Bluetooth on permanently as it's synced to his laptop for appointments, etc.). I will keep mine off!
simple turn off bluetooth.or do you want to revieve such kind of messages?could be,right?myself use it seldom, just to transmit some fotos and just for some min.
It happens a lot here. I've gotten them when I go out on the Corniche, coffee shops and at clubs. Its actually rather funny and I never answer them. In fact, the first time I ever got one, Owen had to explain to me what it was!!!
