NRCRUZ, you dont have to leave your car to your insurance co. they will simply take a photo of the damaged one and then they will give you the repair approval to the concern garage. Secondly you have to finalize with the concern garage to give you estimate repair days, so that you can go back to collect it on time. otherwise the garage people will also use your car big time. it happened to me last week when I gave my car to repair. i went to collect my car little late which was 4 days late and I came to know the next day that they have used my car for about 245km run. which was very shocking for me. i came to know this stuff because I had taken a note of last KM readings. so beware my friend.

Well you shouldnt have left your car with them, Just ask them either to pay you the amount of repair or the garage name where you can repair.
Also from tomorrow Holidays so they wont do anything i guess..
