Why does Qtel's internet connection suck??
Ever since we got this stupid moziac crap which only has Qtv!, and nothing else worth watching... Every single day of the last 2 years that I've been in Qatar I had to call them on daily basis to fix this crap connection cuz it keeps getting disconnected at least 7 times on daily basis. Until today 7 technicians came from Qtel to fix it, we have rewired the line 3 times to get it fixed, they have replaced 3 of the routers and still i am stuck with this trash connection that is fricken over priced and serves no good. The question I have is, why the hell does this issue exist? isn't there anyone that is actually intelligent enough to fix this problem in Qtel, or they just like to laze around and not bother fixing it?????? Why dont they hire staff that is actually qualified to fix things????????? :@ jeez! seriously!

your post is misleading, it's not the internet that is the problem it seems, it seems the router and the mozaic service of Qtel!
Qtel has a monopoly, and like all monopolies it will use profits to expand the business and pay shareholders--never for customer service.
I wish they had more options here, but we all no thats never going to happen. That is why I'm stuck with qtel. I suppose I should try another router.
I gt same problem dude, Qtel replaced my router Three times but till problem same, its problem with router Firmware, so better got for a best brand lik Cisco, This THOMSON router is Suckkkkkkkkk.
I knt even understand y Qtel still supplying this router to customers?........Nice Customer Care.....heh heee

The main proplem in all qtel internet services is thier junk routers it drove me nuts in the begining then the solution was so easy
Just buy a good router like linksys and belkin both are excellent
I had the same proplem when every body in the house are using internet or when playing online at PSN
So just change the router and your proplem will be solved

I have been using Mozaic for last 3 months without any problem, and I am fully satisfied so far. It might be possible that there is some issues in your area/region.
it has a problem but it's bearable! If it comes to a point that I will complain it on board, I would just disconnevt it. BTW, Mozaic is the problem, not internet.
But true, Topnotch, if I don't like the food, why should I eat it? There's a lot of choices. Wrong parallelism!
flor that is like saying, "if you don't like food why bother eating it". Having internet is an integral part of most of our lives you can't just not use it because the service qtel have provided is utterly woeful.
Got the same problem and I have to restart the router again and again. They changed the router, the present one is little better than the older but still the same, I have to restart at least once a day.
As per my personal view, the main problem is their ROUTER, which useless. There is nothing wrong with the line or internet connections. Everything works well once you restart the router.
if you can't take it anymore, why bother to have and pay for it? Just wondering?
