It's nice to give your teacher a tip at the end, especially if you pass. You don't have to, but most people do....

Al Rayah Driving School is the bizz. Near old traffic department, Bin Omran telephone 4877774/4877700. I recommend Abdul Salaam as a teacher. I passed with them/him, but I agree with others...it's the police who will decide whether or not they want to pass you on the day. Good luck!

just go to any driving school you want. and remember one thing, if they ask you to pay a certain amount and promised that they will pass you even if youre not a good driver THAT IS A SCAM as the police a mostly Qatari and nobody could bribe them. its all up to the police if they will let you pass or not. good luck.

I enrolled in Al Khebra Driving School at Abu Hamour last Sept. 28 and took the 12 day course since I already have a license from my country. I just had my driving test yesterday October 7 and passed it. I guess I can say that it's a good school. Just choose a Filipino Instructor. They will teach you everything without asking anything in return . Well, it's up to you if you want to give them if you are satisfied with their performance. Whether you give them or not they will teach you all the tips and strategies you need to learn for the driving exam. Don't blame them if you fail the exam because it is the police who decides. Some police are very strict. I guess I was lucky that the police who facilitated my exam were kind.

I think there will always be instructors in all driving schools who ask for something. From the salary they receive (more or less 1,000QR per month), you can't blame them.

Hope that helps your decision in choosing the driving school for you.
