I am an Ex-pat. Recently got job in Doha. I came Doha on a day visit 2 months back. Now I am searching for good flat/villa rent deals.I have been reading too many adds on Qatar living ...but as i am not in Doha I am unable to get the 'feel' of area based on their names only. Like any other city in the world... Doha must have upper-class or r middle-class living areas. Can anyone guide me with the list of region classified according to class. I am searching for Upper-middle class area for living. 2 bed, 2 bath, car parking and a nice family neighborhood. My budget is 7000-10000 QR. Please guide.

Unfortunately 7-10,000 will not get you "upper-middle class" housing. For a very nice two-bedroom flat in a high rise in West Bay you'd have to pay 20,000. For a stand alone villa it would be about 30,000. The "middle-class" compounds are running 12-15,000.

As per my experience Madinat Khalifa North is one of the best place to stay.

Doha is a very small city. Therefore, the classes are mixed to agreater extent. However, you can try the west bay area. It should satisfy your requirements.
