Vodafone bad service in Barwa City

ontario
By ontario

We recently moved to Barwa city, Abu Hamour.
First of all Ooredoo is not allowed there but ONLY vodafone. Kind of by force taking VF service.

I applied for internet and land line from Vodafone on 3rd of July. More than 3 weeks now but no service as of yet from them. After repeated call and visit their office Vodafone can not reply anything. I am not sure if they are able to provide any service there. It is very painful without internet at home.

The technical team of Vodafone is not qualified. They installed my internet and phone incorrectly. When my internet got stalled, the customer care advised to off and on the modem. Then the trouble began. My modem did not retain the settings due to back up memory not activated. Co I had to wait one week for the phone and internet to get activated. This was only after I lodged a complaint with ICT qatar on telephone 103. Before that, the customer care gave broken promises that someone will come every day. Vodafone is really abusing their monopoly...

Why don't you guys use ooredoo 4G? And for any complaints against telecoms call 103 (ictqatar).

best solution is to move back to Doha city , so that you can get good signals for both networks and no need to wait for customers services for long time.

That's really new to me and humans are naturally greedy.

I guess that is nothing new here. Search and you may find more threads writing more bad about Ooredoo. Things here work on the principle of like it or leave it, if that can be called a principle. It should be the job of telecom authorities to regulate the inadequacies. In the meantime backtrack, or proably reaver may be able to help you.
